I decided to get this book because the story line was different. I was very surprised by how much I liked it!! The characters were amazing and I was instantly hooked!! The scenes were smoking hot!! I mean WOW. I am hooked on these two. Audrey is a bounty hunter and is determined to bring Corbin in because he is on her wanted list. There is a big storm and Audrey has an accident while looking for Corbin and Corbin takes her back to his cabin to recover. The attraction between them is explosive and then Audrey finds out that Corbin knows that she is a bounty hunter and that she is there to capture him! The sparks really fly then!!!Product details

What a terrific beginning story for a very interesting couple. Corbin and Audrey are falling into a rough ride but I think they are going to enjoy every hump in the road. This series has a very interesting story that will keep you entertained and the pages turning. But then those insta-wet moments are going to happen and they will have you sliding right off of your chair. Lawd have mercy, will the cream be thick!! This is a terrifically written storyline with unforgettable characters that we are just getting to know. I think this is going to be a hit!!
Wow- Corbin Lagos is sex on a stick!! Hot hot hot man.....poor Audrey- how hard it must be to be snowed in with this gorgeous man?? And he can cook! So what if she's a bounty Hunter and he's a wanted man?
Audrey is employed by her dads PI business and she is yearning to prove herself and win his respect so after spotting wanted man Corbin in a store she decides she will be the one to collect his $2m bounty! But she is not prepared when she has an almost fatal accident in a blizzard and he saves her life....
The story's heroine has a character that is too hard bitten, too rough around the edges and too guarded to have fallen for the "criminal" she was trying to make her name and fortune on as a bounty hunter. She was a thoroughly unprepared for much of anything and to "fall for the bad guy was just too hokey and naturally, the bad guy has a warm and fuzzy size. This was a real yawner and one I would NOT recommend. To top it off, if any of you gals are looking for some "soft porn" reading to light your fire, this will just not cut it. There is plenty else out there that does not have cardboard cut out characters to spice up your brain and all that's attached. This just isn't it.
A great start...I just finished the 1st in a series. I usually like longer books and not short stories but the writer got me in from the start. No spoilers... A bounty twin set working with a family bond company seems to give the female twin the non-dangerous such as dead beat dads to. but she's set out to prove herself. Starting out reckless and in a snowstorm turns her whole world around. You like her, you like him and the story will make me continue wuth the series. It's hard to review a shorter book with spoilers but well written. Hot sex, spanking etc. involved. I liked it!
I really enjoyed this story and I like the author's writing style. The characters came to life and the suspense felt real. I wish it weren't a series, but there is a little wrap up at the end of the story and a lead into the next episode. Clean editing, smooth writing style, great characters, hot sex, and everything in between.
Wow, what can one write about this book and its follow ons......
I chose to download this book (for free) as I am a true romantic and started reading it immediately. I was so taken with it I could not put it down. The characters are really nice people, apart from Henry who turns out to be a right scum bag.
I am not one for all this dominant / submissive business and although there was quite a bit in this book it didn't really bother me as I enjoyed the story.
I immediately, upon finishing the book, downloaded the next three books, Wanted by a Dangerous Man, Saved by a Dangerous Man and Tempted by a Dangerous Man. The series is so good I read them one after the other, all within two days and was so disappointed when I had finished.
It was only when I was getting to the end of Tempted that I realised the story was not going to come to a climax and was a bit disappointed that there is yet another book that has yet to be published. I do so hope it doesn't take long for this book to appear on and that this book brings this absolutely wonderful story to a finish as the suspense again will kill me (so to speak).
I found Roubin Lagos character to be the most kind, generous, caring and loving character and likewise about Audrey. She stood up for herself but also showed she did, once in a while, need the help of a man, her partner. I do so hope, in the next book, that they settle down together and everything works out good for them.
The explanation of scenes makes you feel as if you can actually see them and be there. Hope the next one is as well written and will keep me on the edge of my seat.
Well done Cleo, all four books, I thought, were and are wonderful. Please don't keep us waiting for the next one....
I really liked this one. I would have given it more stars but I really dislike when book series make you pay $3 or more for 100 some odd pages. Honestly, some of my favorite authors have full length novels for that price.
That being said, I had no idea what to expect from this one. I didn't even bother reading the write up on it I just went by the name and cover. So Audrey, was fun! I love that she knew what she wanted and didn't give in so easily like some simpering self-conscious woman. It was great that Peitsche kept describing her as a person people didn't think men would be interested in yet she considered herself a 7.5.
Anyway, Corbin. What a confusing man. SO many levels to him and they seem to be getting deeper.
I was disappointed that this ended in a cliffhanger yet the story in the cabin was complete. So I get it. I've had worse cliffhangers. I'm just not sure if I'm going to continue something I enjoyed because of the price-point.
